01What it costs

What does a website cost?

Honest starting points, the four things that move them, and how we make sure the number you're quoted is the number you pay. No hourly meter, and no "it depends on the scope" without saying what scope means.

02The arithmetic

The honest answer, with the working shown.

Most studios answer this question with a range so wide it tells you nothing. The reason isn't mystery. A website is a shape, not a product, and the same brief can be a four-page site or a forty-page one depending on answers nobody has given yet. So here is the arithmetic instead of the hand-waving.

A business site with us starts at €900. That buys the structure, a custom design, a hand-coded build, SEO foundations and a launch. A redesign of a site that already exists starts at €600, because the words and the photographs are usually already there and the work is rebuilding rather than inventing. An online store starts at €2,400, where the difference buys payments, Latvian delivery integrations and an admin your team can actually run.

Those are floors, not fixed fees, and the four factors below are what lift them. What we won't do is quote a floor and then bill towards a ceiling: every project is scoped into a single fixed offer before any code is written, and that offer doesn't move mid-project. If we've underestimated something, absorbing it is our problem.

One more number worth stating plainly: the homepage concept is free. Not a discovery call, not a wireframe - one finished homepage design for your business, in about five working days, with no card and no contract. It's the cheapest way for both of us to find out whether the rest is worth doing.

03What moves the price

Four things, and no others.

01

Scope and structure

How many pages, and how different they are from one another. Ten pages built from three layouts costs less than four pages that each need their own - page count is a worse predictor of price than page variety, which is why we agree the sitemap before quoting.

02

Depth of design

A design system applied consistently is quick work. Custom illustration, photography direction, per-section art direction and motion are not. Both are legitimate; they're just different budgets, and you should get to choose which one you're buying.

03

Functionality

A contact form is included. Payments, bookings, a client portal, a product catalogue, a multi-step calculator or an integration with the system you already run are each a piece of work with a number of its own, quoted separately so you can see what each one costs you.

04

Content readiness

Text and photographs you already have cost nothing to place. Text we write and photography we direct is real work, and we'd rather quote it than pretend it's free and then quietly make it your problem two weeks before launch.

Two things sit outside our quote and are billed by the providers directly: your domain registration, and - for an online store - the platform subscription and payment-processing fees. We give you those figures before you pick a platform, not after.

05Questions

The awkward ones.

Why does a custom site cost more than a template?

Because a template is a guess about a business that isn't yours. The saving is real on day one and gone by month six, when the third thing you need the site to do turns out to be the thing it can't do without a rebuild. A hand-coded site costs more up front and then stops costing.

Can I pay in stages?

Yes, two ways. Projects split across milestones - start, design sign-off, launch - so you're never paying for work you haven't seen; and if the cash flow needs it, we can arrange a payment plan that spreads the build across four monthly payments at the same fixed price, no interest. Nothing at all is due before the free homepage concept, which carries no invoice whether you go ahead or not.

Is hosting and maintenance included?

Thirty days of care come with every site we build or rebuild. After that a care plan starts at €35 a month and covers updates, backups, security monitoring, small changes and speed reports. It's genuinely optional: the site doesn't stop working if you stop paying for care.

What happens if the project grows halfway through?

New scope gets a new number, agreed in writing before it's built. What doesn't happen is the original scope quietly costing more than it was quoted - that's the whole point of fixing the offer up front.

Is a cheap website ever the right answer?

Sometimes, and we'll tell you when. If you need one page to test whether an idea has customers at all, a small landing page is the honest recommendation and we'll quote that instead of talking you into a full site you can't yet justify.

07Let's begin

Start your new site with a fixed offer.

No site yet? Send your business name and a few words about what you sell. We agree the structure with you, then give you one fixed price that doesn't change mid-project.
